Sammy had been asking to go to the zoo for a while now. Yesterday morning we decided to take him. We called up the Davis family to join us because they live very close to the Santa Ana Zoo. They met us there at around 11. The zoo offered a year family pass (2 adults and up to 4 kids) for only $59. The pass is also good for many other zoos in our area. We took them up on their offer so we can enjoy this zoo and many more several times this year. Sammy, Taylor, Jordan, and even Nate and Elijah loved looking at the monkeys, birds, camels, llamas, and farm animals. It is a small zoo which is perfect for our small children. We were able to see everything in a couple of hours.
At around one, we took the kiddos to eat at Burger King and then headed back to the Davis' house for games and naps. After naps, Rachael made yummy meat loaf for dinner. After dinner, Rachael and I helped the kiddos make an art project and gave them haircuts while the big boys played video games.
It was a great, but busy, day!
